I like words. My second favourite one, right after “love”, is “kindness”. I’m sometimes moved to tears when one person gives of themselves to another.
Reporters were gathered around The Dalai Lama. One of them asked “Sir, how would you describe your religion?” The world’s most visible Buddhist smiled and simply said “My religion is kindness.” Four words that say so much.
I’ve often written about moments of kindness. Today I yield to the intelligence and open hearts of many other folks. I hope you let their thoughts flow into you.

Thank you, Capablanca. Love lives.
Hi Bruce,
I just wanted to say thank you for Jodi’s book. We met you at Davis Cup this summer. I lost my husband almost 10 years ago (which I never mentioned to you when we chatted 🙂 ). It was lovely to see how much you loved your wife and how you showed that throughout your last months with her and the testament to that love through the book. I think of my husband every day and know that he is with me in good time and bad. I’m sure that Jodi is always by your shoulder and happy to see that you have still embraced life despite losing her. That too is a testament to the love you shared. Hope we cross paths again in the future – likely at some other fantastic tennis event 🙂
Regards,
Anzalene
